Religion in Public Office

As part of the paralegal certificate class that I just took, I took the six hour course necessary to become a Notary Public. A Notary Public is a public official, appointed by the state's Secretary of State after the applicant meets certain requirements.

RIP, Senator Ted Kennedy

Just before 9am this morning, before I was even out of bed yet, my mom came into my room and told me that Ted Kennedy was dead. I just stared at her for a moment, sad and sorry to hear the news, but not really surprised. He was battling brain cancer, after all.
